About Me

Hi there! I am Nanase(Nah-Nah-Say).

I was born and raised in Japan. Currently, I graduated from Brigham Young University-Hawaii, majoring in an Interdisciplinary studies degree(focus on Marketing/IT), and minoring in Visual Arts and Psychology. After spending a year in America in high school, I became interested in doing something to make people’s lives better through creativity. That realization started my journey to become a UX/UI designer.

My experiences in both Japan and America have made me passionate to design user experiences that will inspire and serve people from many different backgrounds.

My goal is to make people’s daily life more efficient through efficient and effective UI/UX design and to bring happiness to everyone who engages with my creations.

Co-founder and a business designer of bubble tea shop "Nanacha-ya", in Takayama, Gifu, JP

・Streamlined business by working with suppliers to import high-quality tapioca products from Taiwan.

・Founded a bubble tea business with gross revenues of $3,000 per day.

*Traveling

I have been to 13 different countries. Traveling broaden my mind and inspires me.

*Photography

I capture people, scenes, and objects. These things allow me to remember my experiences and draw inspiration from them.

*Crochet

I crochet for myself and for others. Crochet allows me to clear my mind and be creative at the same time and can act as meditation through repetition.
